19th Ward Senior Citizens are Invited to Enjoy a Delicious, Locally Grown Thanksgiving Meal

According to 19th Ward Alderman Matt O’Shea’s office, all 19th Ward Senior Citizens are invited to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal prepared at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, the only fully functioning farm in the City of Chicago. Celebrity Guest Chef Graham Elliot will be in attendance.

Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, which is one of seven like it in the nation, occupies 78 acres on the Southwest Side of Chicago.

This classic Thanksgiving dinner featuring locally grown, farm-fresh ingredients will be served on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 5 p.m. All of the food that will be served at the meal was grown by the students at the High School.

A $5 donation is requested by not required.  Reservations are mandatory and can be made by calling 773-238-8776
