Wondering how many people are aware of HR875 “The Food Saftey and Modernization Act of 2009″?

If so, what's your thoughts.

I think a lot of the fear about HR875 is significantly overblown, which is part of the reason we haven't done a big cover story here.

Jill Richardson at La Vida Locavore did an interesting breakdown that is pretty reasonable, and she is one of the more direct voices out there when it comes to attacking factory farming:

I don't think there is a doom-and-gloom aspect here at all, but I certainly don't think it's the best bill out there.  It certainly bears a lot of discussion.
