hey all: not sure exactly where to put this, but tomorrow, Thursday, April 16th, there will be a lecture by Dr. Alan Molumby of UIC on the state of bees in the city and how to lure bees into your own garden. It will be at 6 pm at the Cultural Center at 78 E. Washington St up on the 5th floor. Alan is no dy and daeI say it, droning academic . . . he is passionate and funny and even has some pretty impessive apian tattoos. While you might not think of bees and food being connected, they create honey but also play a crucial part in pollinating many important food crops.

mods: feel free to move this if it should go somewhere else!

thanks a bunch.
