I am going to make a sourdough starter. It says to use non-chlorinated tap water or bottled water.  Will the Brita filter remove chlorine from tap water or should I use bottled water.

Hey Paulette:

I know this response is probably 6 weeks too late (how'd your sourdough turn out?), but the Brita company claims the activated carbon in their filters traps chlorine and benzene, either of which can interfere with non-commercial/wild yeasts in dough.
