Eli’s / Wright Farmers Market Lecture Series

The Local Beet is proud to be a co-sponsor of the Eli’s Cheesecake / Wright College Farmers Market Free Agricultural Lecture Series. These lectures offer access to an interesting group of people speaking on various issues related to food and agriculture.

All events take place at the Eli’s/Wright Farmers Market at 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive in Chicago and all events are FREE and open to the public.

Guest speakers MELISSA GRAHAM & ROB GARDNER – Melissa Graham is President & Founder of Purple Asparagus, an NPO dedicated to bringing families back to the table by promoting and enjoying all things associated with good eating. Rob Gardner is Editor-at-Large and founding member of The Local Beet, a website dedicated to a practical approach to local eating.
