There are a series of weekly webinars scheduled for the first quarter of the next year. These webinars, The Small Farm Webinar Series, are put on by the University of Illinois Extension. The Small Farm Webinar Series is an educational series for the small farm community and provides practical knowledge on emerging topics which advance local food production in Illinois.

This series of online events is aimed at providing small farm producers with a look at how leading practices in production, management, and marketing enable operations to improve profitability and sustainability. These webinars could also be valuable to gardeners as well as any member of the general public interested in any of the topics covered.

The webinars will be held from 1:00-2:30 p.m.  There is no charge to attend, but you need to register for the webinar(s) at

The webinars can be accessed on-line from your personal computer.  In case you cannot attend these dates, register anyway!  An archived version of the webinars will be provided via email (the Monday after airing) for viewing at your convenience.
