Stay Involved – AUA Steering Committee This Tuesday – Open to All!

March 18, 2012 at 11:00 am

The last few days, tons of people got involved with the good food. They attended classes, workshops, and demonstrations. Partied at Localicious. Toured urban agriculture sites, sampled products and even played with baby chicks. It all felt good. There’s so much more, however, to the good food movement than three days of good fun and hard work. Stay involved.

One way to consider staying involved is with Chicago’s Advocates for Urban Agriculture. This group looks at the real potential for change in Chicago through local food. They are very open to all and very open to participation. You have the chance to get learn more by attending their steering committee meeting this Tuesday at the Delta Institute, downtown, from 4 – 6 PM. Additional details and the full agenda can be found here.
