How’s the Harvest Preservation Going

What part of the harvest did you set aside? Pickle the abundant peppers. Can the last peaches. Attempt that damson jam recipe you heard about. In this Local Family, we took the simple but useful step of freezing a large tray of grapes. It’s a very satisfying taste of local to pop in a frosty Concord grape come winter. What did you set aside for the lesser times?

For background on how to preserve the harvest, see the Local Beet’s guide to Preserving the Seasonal Bounty.
