Eat Pastry for City Farm – June 11 @ Vie
Sometime Iron Chef Cheftestant, Paul Virant of Vie, warns that only a few tickets remain for a June 11 sweet filled dinner to benefit City Farm. So says Ellen Malloy:
Vie will host a sweet event on June 11 featuring desserts from the city’s best pastry chefs.
The Vie team will start things off with three savory courses. Then there will be six progressive pastry courses prepared by Todd Feitl (Vie), Mindy Segal (HotChocolate), Elissa Narow (formerly Spring and Custom House), Tim and Elizabeth Dahl (Blackbird and BOKA, respectively), Toni Roberts (Custom House) and Josh Johnson (formerly Cocoa Bean Bakery). The meal also will include wine pairings selected by Vie Wine Managers Thierry Menguy and Maureen Malone. Vie Bar Manager Mike Page will develop some handcrafted cocktails for the evening.
A reception will kick off the night at 6:30 and dinner follows at 7:00 p.m. The meal and wine pairings will cost $150, excluding tax and tip; $25 from each dinner sold will go to City Farm, a Resource Center project.
